Desiree Dorion

Lawyer & Arbitrator

Desiree grew up in Dauphin and left home to attend University. She received her L.L.B. from the University of Manitoba in 2008 and was called to the bar in 2009. After over a decade of litigation in family law, Desiree has seen first-hand the challenges that families face when they are not able to resolve matters amicably. Working almost exclusively in litigation, she was inspired to offer alternatives to families who are facing separation and divorce. She recently completed her arbitration course through the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Canada. Desiree offers arbitration services along with collaborative family law services.

Zachery Hillis

Zack grew up in Winnipeg and the Interlake. He received his J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2019. After graduation, Zack completed the Pennsylvania bar exam and worked as an Attorney just outside of Philadelphia. After six months of working in the United States, Zack was eager to return home to Manitoba and completed his articling year with PCLO. Zack received his Administrative Call to the Bar in Manitoba in May 2022 and is excited to continue working with PCLO to provide legal services in family law and child protection.

Melanie Beaudry

Lawyer & Mediator

Melanie grew up in Winnipeg. She received her J.D. from the University of British Columbia in 2011. Melanie returned to Manitoba and articled in the Westman area. She moved to the Parkland after receiving her call to the Bar in 2012 where she has been working primarily in family law ever since. Melanie has seen the benefits of families working through separation and divorce on amicable terms which inspired her to complete her training in mediation through Kompass Professional Development, an accredited course with the Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute of Canada. Melanie offers mediation and collaborative family law services.
